FITUR is the International Tourism Trade Fair held annually in Madrid at IFEMA, recognized as one of the world's leading tourism industry events since its establishment in 1981. Taking place each January over five days, FITUR brings together over 10,000 companies and tourism professionals from more than 160 countries alongside thousands of public visitors, generating significant business opportunities and serving as a global platform for showcasing destinations, innovations, and industry trends. The 2026 edition featured Mexico as partner country and introduced specialized areas including a new Knowledge Hub with over 200 sessions, FITUR Experience focused on experiential tourism, and an expanded Travel Technology Area, reinforcing its position as a key meeting point for international tourism professionals and the general public to discover the latest in global travel.
