The 22nd
WTTC Global Summit took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 28 to December 1, 2022, bringing together an estimated 3,000 attendees in what became the largest event in WTTC's history. Held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center under the theme "Travel for a Better Future," the summit hosted international business leaders and foreign government delegations, featuring prominent speakers including former British Prime Minister Theresa May, former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, and leading CEOs from across the global travel and tourism sector. The event marked a significant milestone for Saudi Arabia's tourism ambitions, with WTTC members announcing plans to invest more than $10.5 billion in the Kingdom over the following five years.
